Bruce Boston seems to generate dozens of poetry series that eventually become poetry collections.  This series are poems that are portraits of alien races both on this Earth and beyond and illustrate human desires and needs/  My favorite lines is the first stanza of the poem 'Bird People'

If bird people
were the world
our lives would
span continents .
We would fly from
land to land
and wing across
the sparkling see...

Like all Boston colledcctions its well qorth the price.
