The fact is that I write, or at least strive to write, EXACTLY the poem that wants to be written. Sometimes it tells me that it's a sonnet, and admits otherwise 100 lines later. While writing, which is still a great high after about 1,000 completed poems, only 220+ sold, I begin to figure out the market. I don't see the point of following the Muse and balancing the checkbook at the same time.
