BOOK REVIEW

POETRY IN PERSON ed. by Alexander Neubauer (New York; 2010, Alfred A. Knopf, hb $27.95, ISBN 978-0-307-26967-6 .

The book is a series of interviews of major American poets at the New School in Greenwhich Village over the past 30 year.  They were interviewed by an English professor on why and how they wrote their poetry.  In other words poets talk about their creative process when it comes to writing poetry.  It is sort of a printed 'Actor's Studio' for poets.

This is a must have book for any serious poet's library.
